DESCRIPTION:CHILL OUT!  Join the Evergreen Chamber and our partners for our fun filled community event\, March 2nd. \n\n \n\nIt is time to accept our reality\, foothills community...it is cold here in the winter.  And in the dead of winter\, it can be downright frigid! In the spirit of embracing and not complaining\, your Evergreen Chamber is bringing back a day of fun for all on March 2\, 2024. Join us for Chill Out!  Click on event title to register.\n\n\n\nEPRD ICE FISHING TOURNAMENT 7am\n\nInaugural year for this fun addition to our Chill Out Winterfest.  EPRD is running this competitive event with a 7 am check-in.  The temps might be freezing but the competition will be hot.  \n\n\n\nEPRD KIDS ICE FISHING CLINIC 9am-11am \n\nKids can learn the ins and outs of Ice Fishing on our very own Evergreen Lake.  This one hour clinic will take place on the closed skating rinks.  \n\n\n\nMUSHIES CUP -  Lake House 10am \n\nFamily Friendly hilarious competition for all ages on the ice. Teams of 2 or 4 take to the ice to pull\, like a dog sled\, their teammate(s) around an obstacle course without popping their float. \n\n\n\nCROSS COUNTRY SKI RACE - 12pm check-in Lake House \n\nOutbound Mountain Gear is hosting a Cross Country Ski Race.  Don your split or ATX Ski's and complete the course on the ice.  The course is currently snow packed and running fast.  Don't have the equipment?  Outbound Mtn. Gear will get you outfitted for the race.  Registration will open soon\, follow the link.  \n\n\n\nEVERGREEN AMAZING RACE - 12:30 check-in   \n\nPre-registration required\n\nA race around Evergreen. You don't have to be the fastest\, just the best at completing challenges.  Teams of 4 will get clues that will lead them to the next location.  This is a driving race that is for 21 and older participants.  1 team member is your designated driver. Starts and finishes at the Lake House.   \n\n\n\nAMAZING RACE NORTH\, Walking Course - 12:30 check-in\n\nPre-Registration Required\n\nComplete challenges and answer trivia to help you find your way around this course that includes hidden gems in Evergreen North.  Walking course that is approx 2 miles\, fun for the whole team and family friendly.  Starts at the Lake House.  \n\n\n\nAMAZING RACE DOWNTOWN\, Walking Route - 12:30 check-in \n\nPre-Registration Required \n\nOur downtown race will include different challenges at different businesses "downtown".  You will start with your first clue at the Lake House and then proceed through the different challenges on the course.  Walking loop is approx 2.5 miles.  Race finishes at the Lake House.  Family Friendly.\n\n  \n\nWe are capping off Chill Out with a fun night at Evergreen Lake. \n\n\n\nEPRD GLOW SKATE 4:00 - 8:00pm \n\nOur teens (everyone is invited) had a great time enjoying games on the ice\, fire pits\, refreshments and music last year so the event is back!! \n\n\n\nFAMILY GAME NIGHT 5:00-8:00pm\n\nGames will be hosted in the Lake House.  All ages welcome as we offer up warmth for fun family games.  Adult and Non-alcoholic beverages will be available and Slife's Devil Dogs will be on site to sell hot dogs\, brats and hamburgers.  Limited tickets available\, don't wait.
