150 Golden Years Celebration

This huge celebration is Friday, June 12 with a parade beginning at 6:30pm, Jefferson Symphony Orchestra and the Golden Concert Choir will present a concert in Lions Park, a giant laser light show at dusk in food vendors in the Park, Golden Cultural Alliance presentations along with official 150th merchandise on sale by Golden businesses. On Saturday, June 13, the day will begin with the Golden Farmers Market at 8:00am in the parking lot by the Golden Library and the Wild West Auto Roundup will be from 9:00am to 4:00pm on this same day. Official 150th merchandise can be purchased now from Golden T-Shirt Company, Creekside Jewelers, Spirits in the Wind Gallery, Leadership Golden Alumni and at the Golden Chamber/Visitors Center. Volunteers are needed to help in many areas of the celebration. If you can help, please go the web site www.150goldenyears.com and fill out the form. The committee chair will contact you. Stay tuned as more information will be available soon or go to www.150goldenyears.com for the latest updates. Anyone or any business that wants to help financially support this historical event of our great city, it would be very much appreciated. Send your contribution to 1010 Washington Ave., Golden made out to 150 Golden Years. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
