Come learn more about the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) located here in Golden. This year they are celebrating their 40th anniversary.
The mission of NREL is:
"NREL advances the science and engineering of energy efficiency, sustainable transportation, and renewable power technologies and provides the knowledge to integrate and optimize energy systems."
Come learn more about the innovative ways that NREL is answering today's energy challenges and the research that they provide to our nation. On our tour, we will be visiting their newest facility on campus, the Energy Systems Information Faciility (ESIF). To learn more about this facility, visit https://www.nrel.gov/esif/.
This Behind-the-Scenes tour is for members of the Golden Chamber of Commerce. Non members will be added to a waitlist to join the tour if space allows.
Please note: This is a ROBUST walking tour. Please wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk quite a bit.
This tour is only open to US Citizens. Foreign nationals can contact the Visitors Center at NREL to schedule a tour for a different date and time. This is due to the paperwork deadline that has already passed for this particular tour.
