Kiersten Chartier is a Business Outreach Specialist with Jefferson County at the American Job Center. She partners with local employers to support talent recruitment, on-the-job training, internship development, and more. All these services are free, and she’s always glad to talk with new businesses! She will be discussing the current hiring climate, including the unemployment rate, the minimum-wage change, and how those and other factors impact businesses.
