DocuCamp: Four Day Teen Documentary Camp

Learn the Basics of Documentary Filmmaking
Write, direct, and produce your very own 3-5 minute film! Take your ideas and turn them into a documentary. Learn tips and tricks on lighting, sound, camera work and editing with contemporary digital format cameras and editing software. Students will start by creating a screenplay based on relevant current events, then gain experience on how to shoot, edit and screen the films. Students will collaboratively create movie shorts that will premiere at the DocuWest Film Festival, in addition to receiving a DVD copy they can show off to their family and friends!
