Golden Restaurants Grand Re-Opening Ribbon Cutting

Each of the four locations will cut the ribbon at 10:00 a.m. Arrive a few minutes prior and help celebrate our restaurant community! The event will be quick - just a couple of minutes to cut the ribbon.

Location

Attend at one of the following four locations:
1) Washington Ave - under the Welcome to Golden arch
2) Canyon Point area – Courtyard area near Cast Iron Tavern and Ali Baba on N Rubey Dr.

3) South Golden Road – King Soopers shopping center near Pizza Hut

4) West Colfax area - Courtyard area between Vice Kitchen and Over Yonder Brewing on W. Colfax Ave.

Visit Golden and the Golden Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony and proclamation reading to kick off May Restaurant Appreciation Month this Saturday, May 1 at 10 a.m.

Where: On Washington Avenue under the “Welcome to Golden” Arch.

Washington Avenue will be closed for 10 to 15 minutes while Mayor Laura Weinberg reads the Golden Restaurant Appreciation Month Proclamation and cuts the ribbon. The ribbon will span across Washington Avenue and the cutting is meant to signify a welcome back to business or grand re-opening for restaurants, bars and breweries as restrictions lift and we enter the recovery phase of the Covid19 pandemic.

Three additional ribbon cutting ceremonies will take place on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10 a.m. in different restaurant districts in Golden. We would like to invite you and your family to be a part of the ribbon cutting ceremony at the following locations or at the location under the arch:

- Canyon Point area – Courtyard area near Cast Iron Tavern and Ali Baba on N Rubey Dr.

- South Golden Road – King Soopers shopping center near Pizza Hut
