The dZi Foundation is hosting the award-winning Last Honey Hunter film in Golden! Deep in the jungle valleys of Eastern Nepal, the Kulung people practice an ancient tradition of harvesting hallucinogenic honey from the world's largest honeybees. Through a vivid dream as a child, the temperamental spirits who guard the wild cliffs have granted one person safe passage. That person is Mauli Dhan Rai. And this film is his incredible story. Join us for this special evening hosted by the film's Producer and dZi's Nepal Director, Ben Ayers. Following the film - a stunning documentary produced by felt soul media, Camp4 Collective, National Geographic, and the dZi Foundation - we'll have a Q&A with Ben about what happened behind the scenes and dZi's work in this region of Nepal. Donations to benefit our work in Nepal are greatly appreciated. Tickets available at the door or online at dzi.org/events.
