The JSO welcomes harpists Don Hilsberg and Janet Harriman for a performance of the ethereal Passion of Angels by the Canadian composer Marjan Mozetich. Considered one of the most important composers of our time, The Toronto Star writes “His music generates the kind of joyousness you feel when you hear the young Mozart.” Hilsberg is Principal Harpist with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic as well as the JSO. Harriman is Principal Harpist with the Central City Opera Festival. Audience members will also enjoy an afternoon of beautiful, lush melodies in Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4, Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun and Ravel’s La Valse.
