Join the Colorado Railroad Museum on Saturday, May 21 from 12:00 to 4:00PM for Magnificent May: Moms, Music & Model Trains. We are celebrating our favorite things about the month of May.  

A picnic with Mom, jazz music in the summer-like breezes and the distant whistle of trains highlight this special day.

Our new pavilion is an ideal picnic spot to take in an afternoon of live music. Singer Wendy Fopeano will join pianist Doug Roche — both renowned local jazz artists — as they perform timeless tunes from the Great American Songbook. Performances will begin at 12:00PM and 2:30PM.

Enjoy fascinating demonstrations from model train clubs, and don’t forget to visit the Museum’s permanent G-scale model railway from the Denver Garden Railway Society and our HO model railway from the Denver HO Model Railroad Club.

So pack a picnic lunch and come along for an afternoon celebrating May!
