Meet Joe Arnold at Spirits in the Wind Gallery 12:00 - 5:00PM Demonstrating Oil Painting The Artist Joe Arnold specializes in the mountaineer's view in his paintings. His many high altitude mountain panoramas have earned him the reputation as the "plein-air artist of thin air." Pastel and oil studies done on location often involve technical climbing and are sometimes done on the end of a rope. The larger paintings are then done in the studio from his studies.
