September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. In recognition of that, the topic for this luncheon is "Mental Health and Suicide Awareness in Jefferson County" presented by:
Carl Lofaro, Veteran Services Manager, Jefferson Center for Mental Health
Did you know that Jefferson County has the second highest suicide rate in the state of Colorado? The majority of those deaths are adults. We often spend more time with our co-workers and employers than we do with our families. How can we learn to recognize the signs of mental health disorders and what can we do if someone needs help?
