The story of Colorado’s railroads is one of perseverance, daring and ingenuity. It’s the story of settling and taming the Wild West.
On the weekend of August 29 and 30, a whole slew of outlaws, lawmen, ladies and gentlemen re-enactors will bring the 1880s Colorado railroad experience to life with train robberies and sharp-shooting exhibitions. Train robbery performances will be at 11:00AM, 12:00PM and 1:00PM.
Also, don’t miss Blacksmith Sam, leather crafts and Native American storytelling. Listen to the songs and tall tales of cowboy poetry as cowboys reminisce about the Old West. You can also catch a ride behind the historic steam locomotive.
