Driving Directions:
Minutes from downtown Denver, just off CO Highway 58 between I-70 and Golden. Take McIntyre exit from Hwy 58. Head north to W 44th Ave. Turn left. The Museum is located at 17155 W 44th Ave.
Tour the Museum's 15-acre railyard with dozens of narrow and standard gauge steam and diesel locomotives, passenger and freight cars, and cabooses. Enjoy changing exhibits, an extensive HO scale model railroad, and an outdoor Garden Railway. Train Rides Saturdays mid-Jan through Labor Day, also October, Extended operations (Thurs-Sun) mid-May through mid-August. Day Out With Thomas event last three weekends of September; The Polar Express Train Ride selected dates November-December. Fun for the whole family!
